Feeling nap-trapped?

Are you feeling stuck inside because that's the only place your baby will nap? Or it's where you think your baby will get the best sleep at naptime? Do you race back home at nap time to ensure your baby sleeps in their cot?

You are not alone! So many families I speak to think they have to have all naps at home for their child to have the most restorative sleep. You'll be pleased to know that this is completely false

Naps on the go are totally fine. If anything, fresh air for you and for your child will do you both the world of good and help nighttime sleep too! Win win!

If your baby prefers napping in their cot, try taking them out in the pram or the car for one nap a day (top tip: start your walk 10 mins before their nap time so they're comfortable first). They may not be comfortable falling asleep at first but after a few days they will love the routine and consistency.

Using a SnoozeShade to darken their environment, whilst keeping their sleep space safe is my favourite napping-on-the-go tip! They're useful for curious souls too as they hide distractions!
