How old was your baby when someone first asked you if your baby was sleeping through?

They may need any of the following basic, human needs overnight: Feeding Nappy changes Cuddles/Love To see someone they know Medication
Technically, us adults don’t always ‘sleep through’ either. How often do you wake up in the night to have a wee? Or even, just to roll over in bed and find a new, comfy position? We put so much pressure on parents and it’s not fair.
I help parents sleep peacefully, without compromising their parenting choices. I don’t guarantee that a baby will sleep through, because that, in my opinion isn’t normal and shouldn’t be the goal.
Families ask for my help with a broad range of goals in mind that they’d like to achieve. As well as their own goals, I strive to help any baby I work with to feel safe and secure in their sleep space. In my opinion, that is worlds more important than them sleeping through.
Let’s change up the questions society tells us to ask and ask something different instead. What would you prefer to be asked?
